THE BETTER HUMAN LIFE FOUNDATION (referred to herein as “the Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our users, supporters, and contributors. This Privacy Policy serves as a formal Notice under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, explaining how we collect, process, store, and safeguard your personal data.

1. Data Fiduciary & Identity

In accordance with statutory regulations, THE BETTER HUMAN LIFE FOUNDATION operates as the Data Fiduciary.

2. Information We Collect (Data Minimization)

We adhere strictly to the principle of data minimization, collecting only the baseline personal identifiers necessary to execute our charitable missions and maintain statutory compliance:

  • Contributor & Supporter Data: When you submit a pledge, volunteer, or support a mission, we collect your Legal Name, Permanent Account Number (PAN), Physical Address, and Email Address. This information is legally mandated for regulatory tracking and future Form 10BD/80G filing compliance with the Income Tax Department.

  • Zero Commercialization & Marketing: The Foundation operates strictly on a non-profit basis. We do not sell, trade, lease, or leak your personal data to third-party advertising networks, data brokers, or commercial marketing companies. All communications from us are strictly limited to direct mission reporting and milestone updates.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or leakage. Your personal data is stored on secure, encrypted cloud servers and is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill our explicit charitable objectives and satisfy ongoing federal tax and accounting compliance durations.
