🎉 Opening Subhash Library: Free Public Library in Safalya Academy

For years, I had a quiet dream: to build a library where anyone could walk in and read without hesitation or barriers.

Today, in a quiet corner of the Sundarbans, that dream came alive. All thanks to Swapan Suin.

At Safalya Academy, we’ve officially opened the Subhash Library (সুভাষ গ্রন্थागार / सुभाष पुस्तकालय) - named in honour of our director and my father, Shri Subhash Prasad Kumar.

The most special part?

Every day after 12 PM, this library is completely open to the public.

Anyone from Manipur village and the surrounding riverbank - whether a school student, a young adult, or an elder - can walk in, sit down, and spend time with these books.

To be honest, real ground impact has never been just about planting saplings. While our mangrove and palm bio-shields protect vulnerable riverbanks from erosion, lasting transformation happens only when minds evolve.

That’s why these shelves aren't just stocked with school syllabus books. We’re curating literature, science, and progressive philosophical works to encourage independent, critical thought. Because power cuts are a daily reality here, we’ve also installed rechargeable study lamps so evening reading never stops.

Seeing local residents and children with books in their hands brings a kind of peace that words can't capture. Safalya Academy is truly the beating heart of our foundation family.

A sapling holds the soil today; an enlightened mind transforms the world tomorrow.
