8,000 Mangrove Seed Beds Ready in Record Time
On Swapan Suin’s (Mangrove Boy of India) birthday, our ground team and local students achieved an incredible milestone for Mission S.E.E.D.: preparing nursery beds and potting packets for 8,000 mangrove seeds in just 2.5 hours.
This rapid ground mobilization marks the official kickoff of our nursery phase. Mangroves serve as the delta’s frontline defense against storm surges and coastal erosion. Through our tripartite model, this initiative directly integrates:
- Ecosystem Restoration: Laying the foundation to grow thousands of coastal shield trees.
- Community Livelihoods: Creating fair, dignified daily work for local delta residents.
- Childhood Education: Funding local schooling and climate literacy for coastal youth.
Operating under our 100% zero-leakage policy, all contributions go straight to ground operations, nursery materials, and community wages.
